been looking at micro apartments, micro living, low cost and social housing ideas lately in response to a few potential upcoming projects. It’s a fascinating area to be involved in. So I dug out this concept idea I did a few years back for small self-sustaining cottages for rent. The site in Franschhoek was wonderful with a stream running right behind these pod structures, such a tranquil setting. The concept was for each cottage to be an individual jewel and each clad differently with different materials. They could also be clad the same.
